This project relies on the existing goose breeding foundation in the Economic Development Zone. It involves the construction of goose by-product processing workshops, cold storage workshops, slaughter workshops, etc. in the economic development zone that will help process the goose by-products, mainly including goose down and goose meat, enrich the existing types of goose products and create the brand of "Jinping Goose" with local characteristics.
The Guizhou Jinping Economic Development Zone is located in the eastern part of Qiandongnan Prefecture of Guizhou Province and at the junction of Hunan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. It is the most important gateway for Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao and Guilin to enter Guizhou, Southwest and even Northwest China.
Jinping County enjoys a good ecological environment and abounds in water resources. As one of the most important forestry counties in Guizhou Province, it is most suitable for goose breeding. The well-known badminton Brand of Yashilong, which is located in the Jinping Economic Development Zone, has greatly promoted the development of the local goose industry. In 2018, the county planned to cultivate 6 million geese and build 115 demonstration sites for goose breeding, which can provide sufficient raw materials to this project. Some goose byproduct processing enterprises have settled down in the Development Zone, which has laid an industrial supporting foundation. Considering the production cost, location and transportation advantages, and this project enjoys a promising development prospect.
The utilization ratio and economic values of the whole body of goose are very high. The statistics show that the market demand for goose meat and other goose by-products at home and abroad has increased steadily in recent years. At present, the goose by-products in the Jinping Economic Development Zone are mainly badminton feather pieces, while other parts such as goose meat, goose liver and down feather have not yet been industrialized.
With the increase in household income and the enhanced consumption, high-end consumer goods’, such as goose liver and goose down demand for such products is rising. Thus, it has great potential for industrial development.
The project plans to adopt the business model of "Company + Base + Peasant Household" to connect the deep processing capacity with the goose breeding resources of Jinping and open up the industrial chain of breeding, processing and sales.
It is estimated that the annual sales revenue will be 839 million RMB, net profit will be 225 million RMB, and the return on investment rate will be 25%, with an investment recovery period of about 4.84 years, thus, making this project an excellent investment.
