Project of Deep Processing of Honeysuckle Industrial Chain belongs to ecological characteristic food industry. The proposed project site is in Guizhou Suiyang Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 200 Mu, a total construction area of 100000 m2, with a total investment of 500 million RMB.
It is planned to build a Honeysuckle Product R&D Center, a Deep Processing Production Line, warehouses and supporting facilities, perform in-depth development of honeysuckle products including beverages, food, health products, biosynthetic drugs, daily chemical products and other extended series, and build up high-quality regional brands.
Guizhou Suiyang Economic Development Zone is located in the southwest of Suiyang County, Zunyi City and in the intermediate zone between Huichuan District, Xinpu New District and Suiyang County in the central area of Zunyi City. It belongs to Qianzhong Economic Zone and radiates towards Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Pearl River Delta Belt.
Suiyang County, where the Development Zone is located, is the "Home of Honeysuckle in China". Honeysuckle is a key industry in the Development Zone. We will strive to build a Honeysuckle City. By 2018, honeysuckle covered a total planting area of nearly 200,000 Mu, with annual output of 6,000 ton dried flowers. It provides sufficient supply to this project. After many years development, the honeysuckle industry chain of Suiyang County starts to take shape in the upper reaches, and a number of related processing enterprises have mushroomed up. The solid industrial foundation, combined with the advantages of high connectivity of the Development Zone, low production factors and good business environment have created favorable conditions for the project to settle down.
Honeysuckle has multiple economic uses. The domestic honeysuckle market of supply and demand are both growing rapidly, but there is still a big market gap in the future. At present, the honeysuckle produced in Suiyang County is mainly a primary processed product, so there is still room for the development of deep processing.
There are not many honeysuckle products which have market competitiveness in China. Based on the market demand, the honeysuckle industry will develop in the direction of "Standardization, Intensification and Scalization".
In terms of resource utilization, it is planned to adopt the mode of Company + Cooperatives + Peasants + Fine Processing Bases, and the R&D and production mainly focus on the deep processing of honeysuckle products in three fields: medicines, food and beverage, and daily-use chemicals.
It is estimated upon full production capacity to achieve annual sales revenue of 800 million RMB, a net profit of 124 million RMB, with the return on investment of 22% and an investment payback period of about 4.96 years. It will have good economic benefits.
