"The Third-Front Movement" Suiyang Cultural Tourism Project belongs to the cultural tourism industry and the proposed site is Guizhou Suiyang Economic Development Zone. It is planned to renovate the old factory area without using additional land and the total investment is estimated to be about 500 million RMB.
This project takes the Third Front Movement as its cultural core, and plans to build a three-front cultural tourist city including military museum, patriotic education bases, red cultural bases, old-time characteristic hotels, leisure and health care, cultural and creative industry park and supporting cinemas.
Suiyang Economic Development Zone belongs to Qianzhong Economic Zone and radiates towards Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Pearl River Delta Belt.
The Third Front Movement embodies the historical background in the early 1960s in China and its key area is in Zunyi City, where there are a large number of well-preserved cultural sites which provide valuable resources that cannot be copied for the cultural tourism industry. After the project settles down, it can complement Suiyang's existing tourism resources, and cooperate with the Site of the Zunyi Conference, the Loushanguan Campaign and other famous scenic spots surrounding the city in order to form a leisure, cultural tourism red-memory industry belt.
With the continuous improvement of transportation and infrastructure and based on the unique ecological quality, charming natural scenery, enthusiastic and mysterious national culture of Guizhou Province, the tourism industry develops rapidly. As a red base in our country, this project is part of "Whole Region Tourism" of the Guizhou province. It has a promising development prospect.
With the increasing diversification of tourism consumption demand and the strengthening of functional themes, the cultural and tourism projects have begun to blossom all over the country, showing an industrialization trend.
The project adopts a four-in-one development model of "Culture + Ecology + Tourism + Industry" to restore the original appearance of the factory area, create a panoramic tourism zone with nostalgic themes and a new landmark of cultural tourism, and implement the diversified cultural tourism projects with special characteristics.
After the project reaches the designed capacity, it is estimated to achieve annual revenue of 380 million RMB, a net profit of 99.75 million RMB, with financial rate of return of 11% and an investment payback period of about 7.36 years. The economic benefit is considerable.
