Challenge to set world records in shipping ultra-heavy and super large equipment cargoes
The 100,000DWT semi-submersible vessel Xin Guang Hua, successfully carried FPSO "Western Isles", with a gross weight of 31,740 tons. She also perfectly carried the TLP main structure of Shell Appomattox project of 40,335 tons. And she successfully carried 242 meters long PIRAEUS Ⅲ floating dock of “the Belt and Road” Project as well as 228.5 meters long M/V Maersk Honam. MV Xin Guang Hua has constantly refreshed the record weight of semi-submersible fleet in a single load.
Eight new dock gates for the Panama Canal were successfully transported in two separate shipments by the Company. Four of the dock gates are the highest and heaviest ones for the Panama Canal expansion project.
The Brazilian Pao de Acucar Ferry for the Olympic Games was successfully loaded by the Company. It is the new record of maximum measurement in cargo volume for the single lifting of the Company’s heavy lift vessels. Afterwards the Company has successfully transported another two Brazilian ferries for the Olympic Games: CORCOVADO and ITACOATIARA – sister vessels of Pao de Acucar.
7 complete sets of RTGs were successfully lifted by the Company. This was the largest number (7) of RTG complete sets in a single load and set another worldwide record among this type of vessel.
A tugboat in weight of 650mt was successfully loaded by the Company, which made a new lifting record on its own crane operation for single cargo.
Many China-made large barges have been successfully loaded by the Company. One of those barges in length of 135 meters and in weight of 2200 tons made two new lifting records, the longest and the heaviest single cargo to be lifted by the Company.
After continuous innovation and practice, the Company exhibited in the field of shipping ultra-heavy and super large equipment cargoes, and has formed a unique advantage of full coverage of cargo carrying from 1 ton to 100,000 tons.
Lead the high-end service of ‘transportation + installation’
The 22,115-ton offshore platforms were successfully installed by DP positioning, which had made a new breakthrough in the Company’s business of ‘Transportation + Installation’, including loading the heaviest lateral ro-ro cargo in the world by the semi-submersible vessel and installing the heaviest cargo by DP positioning, etc. So far, most DP floating support and installation projects in the world are completed by the Company. The Company's projects spread over the world’s major oil and gas production areas, and it is a reputable leader in this high-end field.
The Company’s heavy lift vessel lifted and carried 8 pieces of LPG tanks with single weight of 566mt each to port of destination, and successfully installed them by her own crane onto the LPG carriers, which had created the ‘transportation + installation’ model of heavy lift vessel.
The heavy-lift vessel successfully transported the submarine cables of 30 km long and over 3000 tons to the shore, creating a new mode of "installation + transportation + installation" for heavy-lift vessels.
Provide integrated solutions for global large-scale projects
From 2015 to 2017, the project came to a successful conclusion ahead of schedule. The Company put into operation a total of 5 semi-submersible vessels and executed 16 voyages including the maiden voyage, transporting 53 major modules of the Yamal LNG project, including the heaviest of them. Yamgaz, the main contractor of Yamal LNG project, highly affirmed our Company’s transportation service and granted us “Outstanding Achievement Award”.
