Wang On Group was established in 1987 and listed in the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1995.
The founder of the Group, Mr. Ching Ho Tang, is a member of the 12th and 13th National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a Hong Kong Justice of Peace. Mr. Tang was awarded the prestigious Silver Bauhinia Star by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2016.
In its early days, the Group was principally engaged in property development businesses. Over the past 30 years, the Group has now grown into a leading conglomerate with operations across Hong Kong and mainland China. Since 1996, the Group has been actively engaged in the development and management of fresh markets. Under the brand name “Allmart”, the Group is renowned for modernizing fresh markets in Hong Kong, offering clean and well-lighted venues for a superior shopping experience for customers.
