Our Products are present in many parts of your day-to-day life, at home, on the road, or in the workplace. While it may seem that we have nothing to do with one another, Gainbase PCB’s play a key role in many of the things that you do on a daily basis.
Ever since making our first circuit board back in 1988, Gainbase Industrial Limited has strived to innovate and improve ourselves, practicing our core value of providing high-quality products and professional services to our customers.
Today, our manufacturing plant has reached 25,000 square meters in floor space. We are now a 1,000-strong manufacturing company, with 150 professional technicians.
We have continuously enhanced our manufacturing capabilities to meet the diverse demands of our customers. We produce a variety of printed circuit boards, ranging from a single layer to as many as 24 layers. In addition, we can produce aluminium PCBs, and high density interconnects circuit boards, with an overall manufacturing volume of 130,000 square meters per month.
Our substantial manufacturing capabilities are made possible by a comprehensive set of production facilities, including drilling machine, auto dry film exposure machine, auto wet film exposure machine, and VCP plating lines. To further boost our capacity, we have installed multiple P.T.H. and pattern plating machine.
In recent years, we have also acquired Double Vertical Continuous Plating line (DVCP), AVI and depth routing machine, allowing us to automate our entire manufacturing workflow.
At Gainbase, we can handle various types of surface processing tasks, such as lead-free hot air levelling, immersion silver, immersion gold, immersion tin, gold plating, and organic surface protection (OSP). We are fully capable of handling the entire manufacturing process of different circuit boards from start to finish.
Our newly installed DVCP lines have been configured with hole-filling chemicals aimed at improving the qualities of the micro-holes filling and plating of our HDI circuit boards. Both our superb hole-filling qualities and outstanding capability of vias holes filling contribute to an excellent performance on the copper filling of vias holes and buried holes, even at high aspect ratios. The double-layer design of the DVCP lines also vastly enhances our productivity.
We insist on delivering the best quality products to our customers. Therefore, we continually adopt the latest technology and machinery, and use raw materials that comply with international standards and relevant regulatory certifications. With state-of-the-art automatic testing facilities capable of performing AOI tests, AVI tests and E-tests, we apply a stringent quality control process on every product we make, to ensure consistent production of stable and reliable products at the highest qualities.
Each finished product will also undergo a 100% exterior appearance test before shipment, as well as random quality checks that allow us to achieve “zero defect” quality standard.
Environmental protection is another key focus at Gainbase. We take steps to ensure sustainability in our production process. The wastewater processing system that we jointly developed with the Hong Kong Productivity Council has garnered multiple environmental awards. It also meets the Class 1 requirements of the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard of the People’s Republic of China. We even invested additional resource in water recycling systems in order to reduce energy consumption and pollutant emission.
At Gainbase, we developed our own manufacturing tracking system, allowing us to better trace the manufacturing workflow of each product. Manufacturing data, such as production date and time, and operator information for each item, are collected in automatic and semiautomatic processes at various points throughout the manufacturing workflow. This information is stored in our manufacturing tracking database for a minimum of 15 years. A reference code is laser-etched onto every finished circuit board, either as QR codes or OCR messages. Upon scanning a specific QR code or OCR message, we can easily query the database to trace back the machinery used, batches of raw materials, manufacturing operators, and other manufacturing data.
In 2017, Gainbase introduced SMART production lines to serve customers of scales, both large and small. The SMART production lines allow us to shorten our production cycles with greater flexibilities, while maintaining the world-class quality standard of our mass-produced products.
With partners across the globe, and subsidiaries in Europe and Japan, Gainbase is a true leader in the printed circuit board industry. We will soon be expanding our commercial presence in Shanghai as well, to better serve our clients worldwide with international ambitions.
Looking ahead, Gainbase will continue to place customers first and improve our product quality, through enhancing our manufacturing technology and further investments in automation equipment.
