Huzhou is located in the north of Zhejiang Province,
with Shanghai to the east, Hangzhou to the south,
Nanjing to the north, and Suzhou and Wuxi across Taihu Lake.
Wuxing and Nanxun districts and Deqing, Changxing and Anji counties are now under its jurisdiction.
It has a total area of 5,820km2
with a resident population of 3.03 million.
Huzhou is 75km away from Hangzhou and 130km away from Shanghai.
