Huawei CPE X (N5368X) is an all scenario CPE product used for 5G FWA.
After receiving the product, please check whether the product components are complete.
The CPE X can be installed either outdoors or indoors.
Prepare tools and auxiliary materials for installation.
First Step is indoor connection, Insert the SIM card into the ODU and turn off Wi-Fi, Connect the IDU and the PSU adapter to the power supply, Connect the WAN port of IDU to the LAN port of the PSU and the ODU to the WAN/PWR port of the PSU.
The indoor connection is completed, after that, move the ODU outdoors.
Check the signal quality based on the signal indicator and determine the installation position.
Lead the Ethernet cable through a hole on the wall to the outdoor CPE X.
Use hose clamps to secure the CPE mounting bracket to the pole, mount the ODU, Connect the Ethernet cable and install the waterproof connector.
If you install it on a wall, drill holes on the wall to secure the mounting bracket and then mount the CPE X.
If you install it on an existing LTE ODU mounting bracket, equip the CPE X with an adaptation kit and then replace the original LTE ODU with it just like replacing a bulb.
Use the mounting kits shown in the video, Insert a SIM card into the CPE, connect CPE X with Ethernet Cable, record the Wi-Fi password on the bottom of the shell and install the base.
Connect CPE X to the WAN/PWR port on the PSU and turn on PSU Power, After the installation is finished, you can enjoy the extreme experience brought by 5G.
