Installation of a Band with a Quick-release Mechanism
You will still need a tool if you decide to install the buckle on your own. Let’s put the spring bar and the tongue into the band and put one of the forked ends of the spring bar to the pinhole in the buckle. Then use the tool to press down the other end and align it to the other pinhole, so that the buckle is installed. Let’s gently pull it once to make sure the buckle is well installed.
After that, put the band between the lugs, insert one end of the spring bar into the pin hole in one lug.Then press down the quick release and align the other end of the spring bar with the pin hole in the other lug, and the installation is done. Many bands are designed with the quick release mechanism as they are truly easy and convenient to install.
