Greetings, I am your medical assistant Cassie . I will now instruct on how to use this product.
Firstly, please allow me to go through the functions of the panel.
The first button is “Listen to Message”. When it flickers, you may press it to listen to the message you receive.
The second button is “Find a doctor”.
If you feel unwell, you may press this button to make an appointment with you doctor, who will then video-call you and consult your health situation.
The third button is “Answering a call”. When your doctor wants to find you, this button will flicker and you may press it to answer the video call and receive health instructions from him/her.
The fourth button is “Switch User”. When two users are sharing this product, you may press button to switch to the corresponding user before measuring. There will be voice reminder when switching.
You may control the volume by turning the volume switch: turning clockwise to increase the volume and anti-clockwise to lower it.
This product contains tools for daily measurement. This is 3-in-1 instrument for testing blood pressure, blood sugar and heart rate. This is wristband for blood pressure measurement. This is blood sugar test paper. This is a box of Disposable blood collection tools. This is SOS button, you may bring this within 20 meter’s range from the Box and press it to call for help under emergent situation.
Now let me instruct you on how to measure your blood pressure and heart rate. You shall not smoke or drink tea or coffeewithin 30 minutes prior to the measurement. Please rest in a calm and quiet environment for at least 5 minutes and relax yourself. When measuring, please use your left arm if possible.
Make sure the hook-and-loop fasteners is on the outer side of the wristband. Plug the air suppression bolt into the hole on the left side of the 3-in-1 instrument.
Please take off your jacket and keep you arm straight. Put the wristband on, roughly 2 centimeters higher than the elbow, and fasten it tight.
Adjust the wristband to position the rubber tube at the middle of your arm bend. Press the start button on the instrument to start the measurement. You will see your result shortly on the screen.
Now I will introduce how to measure your blood sugar.
Please first take the instrument, test paper, blood collection tool and alcohol prep out. Turn on the instrument and insert a piece of test paper onto it. Place the blood collection tool on your finger, press the spring switch and the needle will stab your finger. Then use the test paper to dip the blood drop to finish the measurement.
Your blood sugar result will then appear on the screen, and a voice report will be announced simultaneously.
1. This is the control panel of the Medical Box. You may adjust the volume by twisting the volume control switch.
Our product supports dual users and you can switch between user accounts by pressing the “Switch user” button.
2. Our product also enables children to care for their parents. By scanning the QR code on the Box, they can check users’ data and health reports on their own mobile device (currently Wechat app), as well as receive messages forwarded by doctors.
3. The Medical Box will send self-test reminders according to user’s health plan.
When testing blood pressure, follow the instructions, wear the wristband correctly and connect it to the measuring instrument accordingly. Press the start button to start measuring.
After the measurement, the Box will announce the result and abnormality if any. The screen will show recent data curves simultaneously.
4. You can also self-test your blood sugar level. Before measuring, take out the instrument, alcohol prep pads, disposable blood-collection tool and test paper.
First turn on the instrument and insert one piece of test paper into the slot on the top. Then take alcohol prep pad to disinfect you finger and use the disposable tool to stab on it.
Use the test paper to dip one blood drop. The Box will announce the result in a short while.
5. Users’ health data will be synchronized to hospital’s backend center, and be monitored by nurses in real time.
If abnormality occurs, our system automatically will reminds the nurse, who then can view and check the specific user’s personal data record.
Data curve’s time range is flexible and the numeric data can also be checked on the list on the right.
6. Nurse can video-call users on the backend system to start a remote consultation.
User only needs one button press to answer the call, which is simple and convenient for the elderly.
After the video-call, if necessary, nurse can report to doctor for further analysis via using the interface window.
7. Report messages from nurse will be pushed to doctor’s mobile device.
Doctors then can use fragmented time to check and analyze the case.
8. If you want to modify user’s health plan, like the medication schedule, you may press the “Set reminder” button on the interface, then choose the medicine, the start and end time and the frequency.
Once set, the Box will send out medication reminders accordingly to the users.
9. User can press the “Find Doctor” button to make an appointment.
Upon seeing the request on the backend, the nurse will respond to it.
10. Currently, two types of reservation can be made. Firstly, you can arrange for an offline hospital visit, by choosing the time slot and the corresponding doctor in the interface.
Once the appointment is confirmed, user will then receive a notice.
Alternatively, you can arrange for an online remote consultation also by choosing the time and doctor.
11. users can take out the SOS button from the Box and bring alongside them. In case of sudden discomfort, they can use it to seek for help.
An SOS message will appear on the hospital’s backend center’s big screen. Nurse can then take timely actions, including calling the user and his/her emergency contacts.
