　　TCL dehumidifiers are portable, easy to operate and energy efficient. This video will

　　give you detailed operating instructions.

　　First, please remove all tape from the unit, then open the bucket and remove the

　　castors.

　　Insert the castors into the unit and keep the ring around it flush with the bottom of

　　the dehumidifier.

　　Remove the plastic from the cord and plug the unit into a 15 A, 115 V grounded

　　receptacle.

　　Turn the dehumidifier On and Off by pressing the Power button. When first

　　operating the dehumidifier, run it in Continuous mode for 24 hours.

　　By pressing “UP”or“DOWN”, you can increase or decrease the RH by 5%. You can

　　choose from 35% to 80% RH or Continuous Mode.

　　To maintain the chosen RH level, the unit will cycle on and off.

　　If you want the dehumidifier to operate continously, press the MODE until “CO”

　　shows up.

　　To drain the water from any unit without a built-in pump, you can thread a garden

　　hose (not included) to the nozzle on the back of the unit and lead to a floor drain.

　　Then, set the unit to “Continuous” Mode. To change the fan speed, press the Fan

　　Speed button to choose between High, Medium, and Low level.

　　To program the unit to automatically turn on/off, press the “TIMER” when the unit is

　　off/on. The set time period is up to 24 hours, each press will change the time period by

　　1 hour. Please note it is normal that the fan will continue to run a little longer even

　　when the compressor is off, which is for air circulation.

　　When the water bucket is full, the unit will stop running and will make a beeping

　　noise, and the Bucket Full Indicator will light up. Once you empty the bucket, the

　　unit will start running again.

　　To prevent the growth of mold, clean the bucket with mild detergent every few

　　weeks. Place the bucket back inside once clean and dry.

　　After 250 hours of use, the filter indicator will light up. Remove the filter by pressing

　　the tab above it. Clean it with warm, soapy water.

　　Place it back into the unit once it has completely dried and press the FILTER button

　　to reset. Please note- do not operate the unit when the filter is removed.

　　By choosing the Bedroom (55% RH) or Basement (45% RH) MODE, you can enjoy the

　　preset humidity levels for different situations.

　　To prevent someone from changing the settings, you can lock or unlock the control

　　panel by pressing TIMER for 3 seconds.

　　If your unit has a built-in pump, you can drain water with the help of the attached

　　drain hose kit by following these steps:

　　First, take out the drain cap on the back of the unit. Then, install the drain hose

　　(included) to the pump adaptor. Make sure they are tightened by turning clockwise.

　　Lead the drain hose to a nearby drain, sink or out a window. Press the PUMP button

　　to activate the pump function, which can pump up to 16 in height from the base of

　　the unit.

　　Please note the units with the built-in pump are not compatible with a garden hose

　　while using the pump mode.

　　With these simple steps to install and maintain your unit, you should get many years
