　　In 1973, French President Charles de Gaulle’s dedicated cruiser ANCEEVILLA was sold to China

　　and renamed Minghua. In January 1984 Chinese former paramount leader Deng Xiaoping fain

　　inscribed “Haishang Shijie” (Sea World) for this cruiser after he looked it around, which has

　　moored on the north coast of the South China Sea. From then on this began to fame this cruiser

　　at home and abroad as a symbol of China’s reform and opening-up.
